When I first had the chance to visit Noosa, I fell in love with the place immediately. I knew right away that it was the place I was going to live out the rest of my life.

The problem was that I did not have a lot of money and Noosa is one of Australia's premier holiday destinations, so it's not a cheap place to live.

Noosa is located in Queensland just 130km north of Brisbane or 1200km north of Sydney, Australia.

This particlar tourist destination attracts visitors from all over the world. Stunning natural beauty, wonderful restaurants, pristine beaches, shops, adventure and a wide selection of accommodation make Noosa not only a perfect place for a holiday. It makes Noosa the best place on earth to build a home and lifestyle for those lucky enough?

I came accross a great little website when I visited that was put together by a local Noosa mother, she had three young girls so was a full time Mum who built her Noosa website as a sideline. www.BringTheKidsNoos.com.au is all about holiday accommodation Noosa. Its unique though, it's been done in a way that only a mother with three young girls living in Noosa could ever do. You are going to have to visit the site to see just what i am talking about.

The website boasts over 40 video's that are all about Noosa or about the page which is about Noosa, one on every page of the website. Some of the video's are really funny and clever, others are done by cinematographers shooting amazing footage of Noosa by air which are nothing short of stunning. She has even put together her own Noosa accommodation, best picks video page. On this page she has posted some music video clips that she edited together displaying her own favourite accommodation listings for her visitors.

If you can get to the site be sure to click the publishers link in the top right corner of each page to to see a video that the publishers kids have posted to the publisher, I suspect they had a little help. The video was adorable, it made me want to have children. An urge I have never had before?

I spent my holiday in Noosa dreaming of how I could become a local. I spent more time investingating ways of pulling it off than I did relaxing.

Most of the young folks that I met in Noosa worked in association to the tourism indusrty and didnt earn a lot of money. Others owned there own business which demanded they work long hours. Noosa has a lot of very wealthy people who dont work at all or work from home on the internet. The young workers of Noosa barely make ends meet but dont seem to care. As long as they are surfing or kite surfing on days off, nothing seems to matter. Life is always great for them which to be honest, was part of Noosa's appeal.

I spent my holiday reflecting the reality of my moving to Noosa full time. After assessing the Job prospects carefully I decided I would rather return one day with some money behind me or a business plan of some kind that would earn me decent money whilst living in Noosa. I didnt want a business that had me working myself to death just so I end up living in paradise without time to enjoy it!

I was so impressed with what this local mother had done with her website about Noosa that I decided to build my own budget accommodation website.

I decided to go away and set up my own website listing budget holiday accommodation website.Research showed me that there was a lot of competition already, I knew that I would have to find some kind of special niche.

There were last minute holiday deals from many of the major carriers, offering cheap tickets, discount hotel accommodation, and even savings on car rentals. I knew that I would have to offer something special, something that separated me from all of the other websites in the business. For a while, I had no idea. I was about to give up on my dream, in fact, when it finally hit me.

Most of the bargain holidays offered on travel websites were targeting a specific sector of the population. They would either sell travel packages to older people with money, or to young students with their parents money. They were mostly for people who wanted to do all of the usual tourist stuff. The travel packages provided all the hand holding with maps to the beaches, upsells like day cruise and tourist attractions with flights, 3 nights accommodation and a hire car including a discount voucher for meals at a local restaurant thrown in.

If however, I could offer a budget holiday booking website for young adults who wanted access to the online booking engines without all the package deals, a site that respected peoples independance to choose their own itinary who could make there own travel plans without prompting.

My site would "not" offer tours or bargain holiday packages that offered tours. The site would be informative and entertaining, offering news feeds and local video's for all destinations on the ground.

We would include audio and location search where visitors can find local businesses like restaurants and copy centres on a map for example, in Earls court, London. They can then book accommodation off the same map knowing exactly where the accommodation is in proximity to the copy centre, the tube station and restaurants online before they travel.

I started building www.BudgetLettingsDirect.com 9 months ago now, today I am making enough money from the website to seriously consider handing in my full time day Job. It seems my dream of moving to Noosa full time will become a reality in the next 6 to 12 months, just 18 months from deciding I was going to do it.

The idea worked out very well. Not only is my budget accommodation website providing holiday solutions cheaper than most other website travel packages, the site has become the go to destination for a niche group of young tech savvy adults with money. Many of my visitors return to use the site again and again becuase they love being able to read the local news feeds and watch a video made by a local on any particular destination before traveling to it.

My first port of call when I move to Noosa will be to visit the mother of three who publishes her website at www.BringTheKidsNoosa.com.au, I need to find her and let her know that her work inspired me to change my life.
