I realized from a young age that nobody should have control over my ability to live, that is what i want to move away from congregation that control my food supply. I have concluded that the most treasured things in this world such as water and food are usually managed by some third party. When I finally did my research and realized that heirloom seeds is the only thing that will keep us away from large corporations, I began my quest. What seperates organic heirloom seeds from regular GMO seeds is that they can recreate fruit and vegetables for years. It is absolutely amazing because just saving this one seed can amount to more fruit and vegetables later on. Usually when you buy a melon from the store, it carries GMO seeds, which generally means that it can never be re-cultavated and grown into more fruit but with this other type of seed it is very possible to keep bearing fruit for years to come and that is a true sense of independence.
