One of my best friends and I share the same passion. We both love shoes. I am a firm believer in the fashion advice that the shoes that you choose can make or break an outfit. I also know that you can tell a cheap pair of shoes from across the room. I do not like to spend a great deal of money on each pair of shoes because I do not have an unlimited budget, and I like to have a variety of shoes. This means that when I go shoe shopping I need to buy during sales and I need to make sure that the shoes are comfortable and well made.
I have a problem with my feet swelling during the day. I have found that the way to insure that I have shoes that are going to be comfortable is to go shoe shopping later in the day when I have been on my feet for a while. By trying on shoes at this time I am more likely to get the right size. If shoes feel comfortable when my feet are tired and swollen then they are going to be a good shoe for me.

My girl friend and I go shoe shopping together twice a year. We go to several discount shoe warehouses as well as shoe stores that carry several of the most popular brands. I rarely buy shoes at department stores because they do have the more unique shoes. I like to buy shoes that are in style, yet are not like everyone else is wearing. By going to discount stores you can find more of the unique shoes. The warehouse stores have a much larger selection of sizes also. I have a very high instep so the wide sizes fit me much better. Most department stores only carry the most popular widths of shoes, and that usually does not include wide.
Last spring my girlfriend and I missed our shoe shopping outing. We could not seem to find a time when the both of us were available. I went shoe shopping by myself and purchased three pairs of shoes. The next time I met my girlfriend for lunch she was wearing one of the same pairs of shoes that I bought. We laughed about this and decided that this is why it is important to go shopping together so that we are not buying and wearing the same shoes. I cannot believe that out of the hundreds of pairs of shoes that are available we would pick out the same pair.
